The Sibuguey Bay is part of the Gulf of Moro and lies on the coast of the island of Mindanao in the Philippines .
It is formed by the Zamboanga peninsulas , in whose southeastern shores the bay is digging.
Along its coast are the communities of Ipil and Naga in the Philippine province of Zamboanga Sibugay and the northern extension of Zamboanga City .
