The Buckley Bay is a ferry port on Vancouver Iceland in the Canadian province of British Columbia . It's located about 13 miles south of Courtenay , in the Comox Valley Regional District , at an exit of Highway 19 .
Denman Island and Vancouver Island form the Baynes Sound here , as part of the Strait of Georgia . The tidal range here is usually between 1 and 4 meters.
