Bucknell Ridge is a mountain ridge in the Australian Antarctic Territory . It rises directly above the Cranfield Icefalls and extends east-west along the southern flank of the Darwin Glacier near its confluence with the Ross Ice Shelf .
The team to explore the Darwin Glacier in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) named the ridge after the New Zealander Ernest Selwyn Bucknell (1926-2001), a member of this team.
