33 FC Budapest , 33 FC for short , is a Hungarian football club from Budapest . He played a total of 28 years in the first Hungarian league, the Nemzeti Bajnokság .
history
33 FC was founded in 1900 in the Budapest district of Óbuda and played in the first Hungarian league, the Nemzeti Bajnokság , in the 1902 season . In the first year he achieved his greatest success with third place. Then the club fought to stay in the class and finally had to relegate from the league at the end of the 1906/07 season . The immediate resurgence was missed in the relegation. In 1910 33 FC returned to the House of Lords. There the club was able to hold up to the 1920/21 season , often just managed to stay in the league or placed in the midfield. In 1923 it was promoted again, which was followed by immediate relegation in the 1923/24 season . As early as 1925, the club returned to the first division.
When the Hungarian professional league was founded in 1926, the club changed its name to Budai 33 ( German 33 from Buda ) and in 1930 to Budai 11 ( German 11 from Buda ). At the end of the 1937/38 season , the club had to relegate after 13 years of uninterrupted league membership. After the end of the Second World War , the name was changed back to 33 FC before the club dissolved in 1958. In 2011 the association was re-established.
