The Buddha Rock is a 35 m high cliff in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . It is located around 700 m west of Knob Point, the westernmost point of Vindication Island .
The rock was mapped and named by participants in the British Discovery Investigations in 1930. The exact background of the name is not known.
