The Bugenhagenkirche is an Evangelical Lutheran church in Neumünster .

building

It was built in 1962 and 1963 in the Böcklersiedlung . The executing architects were FW Hain and H. Bülk, who came from the city. The consecration took place in 1965. The building is made of vermilion hand-painted brick with elements made of exposed concrete and facings made of copper sheet. It is entered in the list of cultural monuments in Neumünster and is therefore a listed building.

The church belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Church District Altholstein in the Schleswig and Holstein district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany and is located at Hansaring 148. It is the parish church of the Bugenhagen parish, which was founded in 1953. Church building and congregation are named after the theologian and reformer Johannes Bugenhagen . The former parish hall on Kantplatz was cleared in 2007. The focus is on senior citizen work, church music and family work. The community has a kindergarten.
