Bugz in the Attic is an electronic music DJ and record producer collective based in West London . Their style of music is mostly described as broken beat . Bugz in the Attic run their own label with BitaSweet Records .

history

The collective consists of Orin Walters (Afronaught), Paul Dolby (Seiji), Kaidi Tatham , Daz-I-Kue , Alex Phountzi , Cliff Scott , Mark Force , Matt Lord and Mikey Stirton . In 2003 they contributed their own compilation to the Fabric Live series of the renowned London club Fabric . The collective first became known to a wider public with their single release Booty La La , which is characterized by the broken beat style.

After many dozen single, remix and compilation releases, the collective released their first album in summer 2006: Back in the Doghouse. The resulting single Don't Stop the Music reached position 76 in the UK national charts and number 1 in the UK dance charts 2006 for a week in October.
