The Bujo ( Malay buyo ) is a knife from Malaysia .

description

The Buyo has a straight, single-edged, slightly bulbous blade. The blade has neither a central ridge nor a hollow grind. It is connected to the hilt with a tang that is narrower than the blade. The booklet is usually made of wood or bone. The buyo is mostly used as a work knife by carpenters and for cutting the betel nut .
