The association is based in Munich . There are currently around 80 district associations of the BWE in Germany.

history

The association was founded in 1972 in Munich and entered into the register of associations on November 15, 1973 . In the course of the reunification of Germany, it was considered necessary to extend the activities of the BWE, which had previously been limited to Bavaria, to other federal states. That is why the Federation of Housing and Land Owners eV , also based in Munich, was founded. This maintains district associations outside of Bavaria under the name of the Federation of Apartment and Landowners and works closely with Bayer. Apartment and Land Owners Association.
