Federal Working Group on Inclusion Firms

The Federal Working Group Inclusion Firms e. V. ( bag if ) represents the interests of inclusion companies (formerly integration projects ) in Germany with headquarters in Berlin and Bielefeld . It advocates equal participation in the general labor market for people with and without disabilities.

The bag if emerges from the FAF eV (specialist advice for work and company projects) founded in 1985, which was split up in 1995 into the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Integrationsfirmen eV and FAF non-profit GmbH. In 2017 the name was changed to Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Inklusionsfirmen eV

Duties and memberships

Bag if represents the interests of around 900 inclusion companies and more than 28,000 employees on a national and international level.

She lobbies for inclusion companies and initiatives to create jobs for people with disabilities. To this end, it works closely with the integration offices and their Federal Working Group (BIH) as well as the employment agency . Bag if is also represented on the advisory board for the participation of disabled people at the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

Bag if informs, supports and networks inclusion companies with the aim of shaping inclusive participation in Germany over the long term.

Bag if is a founding member of CEFEC - Confederation of European Social Firms, Employment Initiatives and Social and EuCIE - European Confederation of Inclusive Enterprises employing people with disabilities , both of which are European initiatives to promote inclusive companies.

Board

The activities of the federal working group are controlled by the elected executive board. The 1st chairman is Fritz Baur.

State working groups

The 16 state working groups are the state representatives of bag if. They represent the interests of the inclusion companies vis-à-vis politics and administration at the state level. The speaker committees of the state working groups each send one person to the extended board of the federal working group.

Technical advisory board

The technical advisory board supports the Federal Working Group on Inclusion Firms in developing and implementing their technical and political goals. The specialist political advisory board of bag if includes the Federal Government Commissioner for the Issues of People with Disabilities, the disability policy spokespersons from five parliamentary groups and other experts.

Ulrich Adlhoch is the chairman of the political advisory board.

Managing directors
