The German federal law regulating the reimbursement of monetary liabilities of the German Reich and equivalent legal entities regulates reimbursement claims for assets from the assets of the German Reich and from Nazi organizations.

Claims for reimbursement can exist in accordance with Section 2a (1) of the Act if the legal entity “has acquired or usurped property, ownership, possession or power of disposal contrary to the rule of law”.
