The Federal Association of German Goat Breeders eV (BDZ) is an association based in Berlin and deals with all aspects of goat breeding and husbandry. The BDZ is a member of the working group of German animal breeders .

tasks

The BDZ represents the goal of ensuring balanced framework conditions for competitive goat husbandry. Additional areas of responsibility are:

  • Regular member information on current topics in the field of goat husbandry.
  • Advising members on questions of breeding, feeding, keeping and marketing of breeding animals and products from goat husbandry.
  • Organization of internal training events on current topics in German goat breeding and husbandry as well as the marketing of milk, meat and their processed products.
  • Representation of interests for the special concerns of goat breeding and husbandry at EU, federal, state and regional level.
