The Federal Association of Temporary Employment Services eV (BZA) was an employer and company association of licensed temporary employment agencies with 700 member companies that operate over 2,000 branches in Germany.

In spring 2011, the employers 'association of medium-sized personnel service providers and the BZA merged to form the Federal Employers' Association of personnel service providers .

The BZA emerged in 1976 from the merger of its predecessor, the Unternehmensverband für Zeitarbeit eV (UZA), founded in 1969, and the Federal Association of Personal Leasing (BPL). The association not only unites large companies, but also 92 percent small and medium-sized temporary employment agencies (1 to 500 temporary workers) under one roof.

The BZA was the only German temporary work association to be a member of CIETT , the international employers' association for temporary work, and of the Eurociett, the European branch of the Ciett. The BZA had an important function as an employers' association by acting as a collective bargaining partner with the DGB collective agreement for temporary work. The negotiation result between the BZA and the DGB has been the collective wage agreement for temporary work since July 22, 2003, which was supplemented by several amendment agreements (2004, 2006 and 2010). With effect from July 1, 2010, increases in charges came into force. For example, the hourly rate for pay group 9 increased from 16.69 euros to 17.11 euros (West) and the hourly rate for pay group 1 from 7.38 euros to 7.60 euros (West). Further increases are set by the collective bargaining agreement and came into force on May 1, 2011, November 1, 2011 and May 1, 2012, respectively.

The last president of the association was Volker Enkerts. The office was in Berlin.
