The Burdur Gölü ("Burdur Lake") is of tectonic origin and lies between the Turkish provinces of Burdur and Isparta .
It is one of the deepest lakes in Turkey . The lake is fed by the tributaries Bozçay, Kravgaz, Kurna, Çerçin, Lengume and Adalar. However, these streams carry so little water that they partially or completely dry out in the warm months. The provincial capital Burdur is about 5 km from the lake. In the southwest are the other two lakes of Burdur: Salda Gölü and the Yarışlı Gölü .
