The castle Hielock is an Outbound hilltop castle on 745 m above sea level. NN east above the Mägerkingen part of the city of Trochtelfingen in the Reutlingen district in Baden-Württemberg .
The castle was probably built at the beginning of the 12th century by Messrs Milo and Heinrich von Mägerkingen, who were already mentioned before 1138, and was still owned by the Lords of Mägerkingen. In 1411 the castle was in the possession of the Lords of Rechberg as pledge of the Counts of Württemberg , from 1437 to 1441 in the possession of the Counts of Werdenberg and later in the possession of the city of Trochtelfingen. In 1890 the foundation walls of the castle were exposed.
From the small castle complex on a castle area of 10 by 22 meters with an arched moat and rampart, wall remains of a residential tower-like building are still preserved.
