The Burg Hornberg is the ruins of a hilltop castle on the road to Berneck Hornberg (Johannes-Brenz-way 1), a modern suburb of Altensteig in the district of Calw in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

The castle was built in the 12th century for the Counts of Calw and mentioned in 1252. The castle was inhabited by their ministerials , the bailiffs of Wöllhausen and relatives of the Lords of Fautsberg. The castle was during the Thirty Years' War destroyed (1618-48) and 1,958 to 1,971 square donjon rebuilt and now serves as Forest boarding school administered by the State Forestry Administration.
