The castle Langenschemmern is an Outbound hilltop castle on a mountain above the corner Rißtal about 500 meters southeast of the church of the district Langenschemmern the municipality Schemmerhofen in the district of Biberach in Baden-Württemberg .
The castle was mentioned in 1492 as a Burkstall , i.e. as a castle that was no longer habitable. Remains of it are said to have been visible in 1837, but no clear remnants have survived today.
