The Rauhenberg Castle is a hilltop castle (ramparts) at 575  m above sea level. NHN on the eastern flank of the 621.3 meter high Rauhenberg , directly on the Swiss border, three kilometers east-northeast of the community of Gailingen am Hochrhein in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg .

The 80 meter long and 30 to 55 wide hill fort was built either in prehistoric times or between the 8th and 10th centuries. Small remains of ramparts and moats have been preserved from the former complex .
