The castle Schwenden is one of two dialed hilltop castles at 650  meters above sea level. NHN in the area of ​​the Schwenden residential area in the Ratzenried district of the Argenbühl municipality in the Ravensburg district ( Baden-Württemberg ). It was about 600 meters west-southwest of the place.

The castle was owned by the Lords of Schwenden and is first mentioned in 1309 with Heinrich von Schwenden. Today a memorial stone by Otto Merkt from 1938 reminds of the former castle complex .
