The Burgstetten is an Outbound lowland castle on the territory of the district Stetten the municipality Achstetten in the district of Biberach ( Baden-Württemberg ).

The castle, which can no longer be precisely located today, was presumably located south of the town hall near the local stream, was soon referred to simply as the “castle stable with pond” and was garden land in the 17th century. The castle was probably built in the 12th century by the noble Heinrich von Stetten mentioned between 1181 and 1182. In 1385, at least part of the castle was owned by Eberhard von Freyberg , who in the same year sold half of it with all rights to the Ulm citizen Peter Wagner and who sold the entire village to the Wiblingen monastery from 1386 to 1387 , which as a result of the Wilblinger abbot Heinrich V. Mayer made the undivided lord of the village.
