The lost castle , which was probably named Burg Unlingen , was located west of the municipality of Unlingen in the Biberach district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle and the castle aristocracy cannot be documented. The castle complex , which was not exactly localized, was possibly west of the town of Unlingen on the so-called Burr , which is probably the short form of Burgstall. In the past, there are said to have been remains of masonry and underground vaults, today there are no more remains.
