The Weierweiler even Hungerburg or just Burg called, is a Outbound Turmhügelburg (moth) at the creek on the eastern edge of Weierweiler, in the municipality of Weiskirchen in the district of Merzig-Wadern in Saarland .
The castle, whose owner is the Archdiocese of Trier , was built between the 11th and 12th centuries and was mentioned in 1332. According to Keller in the history of the Merzig-Wadern district , there was a bailiff of the Dagstuhl estate at the castle . The castle site of the former castle , which is now partly wooded, is located behind the current farmhouse with the Brix-Kratz family's inn.
