Burgaska muskatowa rakija (also written Burgaska muscatova rakija , Bulgarian Бургаска мускатова ракия ) is a Bulgarian fruit brandy ( rakija ). Burgaska muskatowa is one of the milder and high-quality rakija varieties.

It is a fruit brandy with a legally protected origin in the Burgas plain , where it is exclusively produced. The Black Sea Gold Pomorie winery acquired the state-owned Vinpom Burgas winery in 1990 after privatization and thus the rights to produce Burgaska muskatowa and produce it in Burgas .

Burgaska muskatowa rakija is made from the grapevine Muscat-Ottonel . Aged in oak barrels for at least a year, it is characterized by a golden yellow color and a mild nutmeg taste. The rakija contains 40% alcohol and is bottled in 500 and 700 ml bottles.
