The castle tower is in the Burgstrasse 18 in the district Odenkirchen in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The tower was built in 1734. It was entered under No. B 121 on March 14, 1990 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

location

The property is located south of the Niers on the northwest corner of the former castle, the location of which is evident in the topography and the course of the road.

architecture

The former gatehouse is a two-storey, two-axis brick building built on an approximately square floor plan under a curved, slate-covered (old German type of roof ) mansard roof . There are two dormers each in the east and west mansard roof area.
