Burgunderstrasse

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Burgunderstraße (also called Ulmerstraße, Heerstraße or Weinstraße ) was a branch of the European long-distance trade route Via Imperii , the most important imperial road between Nuremberg and Milan . The street got its name from a group of grapevines , the Burgundy.

It belongs to the Jakobswegen in Germany (Nuremberg- Konstanz ) and is the continuation of a Roman road to Nuremberg that ends in Gunzenhausen .
