The castle wall of Tüzen , a district of the municipality of Kriesow in the Mecklenburg Lake District , is located on the Schlossberg on the bathing beach of Lake Tüzer . Slavic ceramic shards show that the area was already used in the Slavic era. It is possible that a Slavic hill fort existed here , from which the surrounding area was controlled. In the 12./13. In the 19th century, the area came under German sovereignty as part of Germany's eastward expansion. A new early German castle has now been built on the Schlossberg, from where the “Tucen” land was administered. How long this castle existed is not known. There are no more stone castle ruins on the plateau. The natural protective layer meant that additional earth walls could be dispensed with. The only access to the castle plateau was from the north.
