Coat of arms, flag, official seal

The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag . The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the region of Western Pomerania . It shows an upright griffin with a raised tail and the inscription "GEMEINDE KRIESOW • LANDKREIS MECKLENBURGISCHE SEENPLATTE".

Attractions

The village church in Borgfeld, Mecklenburg, consecrated in 1774, was renovated in 2008/2009 for 175,000 euros. The baroque sacred building was solemnly put into use again on April 26, 2009 in a festive service by regional bishop Andreas von Maltzahn. The badly dilapidated church had not been used since 1980. A support association for the preservation of the building had founded an initiative to save the village church of Borgfeld shortly before it finally fell into disrepair . In addition to church services, future use also includes cultural events. The parish belongs to the parish Ivenack in the parish of Stargard.

The organ from 1864, built by Friedrich Hermann Lütkemüller , is currently in the Malchin Marienkapelle.
