history

Until the middle of the 20th century Borrentin belonged to Western Pomerania .

Borrentin was first mentioned in a document in 1270. The place was currently owned by Verchen Monastery . After secularization the property became a domain. In 1816 the domain was sold to Oberamtmann Seemann and in 1818 it came to Lukas Axel van Hooven, whose family remained in possession of the property until 1945. The estate with 550 hectares was settled in the land reform, the manor house served as accommodation for refugee families.

Gnevezow: In the 1960s, the Gnevezow district acquired a certain central function, as the farms were merged there and new buildings were built, which led to strong migration in the surrounding areas.

Metschow was first mentioned in a document in 1255.

Wolkwitz was already settled in the 13th century.

Pentz was first mentioned in a document in 1243. It was the knightly possession of the von Pentz family . In 1311 the estate became the property of the Verchen monastery. After secularization , Pentz became a state domain . After the sale in 1818, the owners changed frequently. The neo-baroque manor house dates from the 18th century, with renovations in the 19th century.

Schwichtenberg: The manor house dates from the 19th century.
