Wildberg is a municipality in the Mecklenburg Lake District . It is located north of Neubrandenburg . It is part of the Treptower Tollensewinkel office based in Altentreptow .

Geography and traffic

Wildberg is about 18 km northwest of Neubrandenburg and ten kilometers southwest of Altentreptow. The federal highway 104 runs south of the community. It can be reached from the Bundesautobahn 20 via the Altentreptow connection . The west of the municipality borders on the Kastorfer See .

history

Wildberg belonged to Western Pomerania until the early 20th century .

Wildberg was first mentioned in a document in 1249. Until January 1, 2004, the community was part of the Kastorfer See office .

Coat of arms, flag, official seal

The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag . The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the region of Western Pomerania . It shows an upright griffin with a raised tail and the inscription "GEMEINDE WILDBERG • LANDKREIS MECKLENBURGISCHE SEENPLATTE".
