Lindetal is a municipality in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is administered by the Stargarder Land Office based in the town of Burg Stargard .
geography
Lindetal is about 13 kilometers southeast of Neubrandenburg and four kilometers east of the official seat of Burg Stargard. The community is located on a terminal moraine , the heights of which are sometimes over 100 m above sea level. NN range. The name of the municipality is derived from the lime tree flowing through the west of the district .
Lindetal is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pragsdorf and Cölpin in the north, Neetzka in the northeast, Woldegk in the east and southeast and Stargard Castle in the southwest and west.
Community structure
history
The municipality of Lindetal was created on January 1, 2002 from the previously independent municipalities of Ballin, Dewitz and Leppin. Its original name Lindental was changed to Lindetal with effect from April 1, 2002 .

Coat of arms, flag, official seal
The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag. The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg. It shows a looking bull's head with torn off neck fur and crown and the inscription "GEMEINDE LINDETAL • LANDKREIS MECKLENBURGISCHE SEENPLATTE •".

The B 96 runs west, the B 104 north and the B 198 east of the municipality.
Volunteer firefighter
With the community merger in January 2002, the then existing volunteer fire brigades in the communities of Dewitz and Ballin were merged to form the Lindetal fire brigade. In January 2007 the volunteer fire brigade in the municipality of Cölpin was dissolved and has been part of the Lindetal volunteer fire brigade ever since.
