Briggow is a municipality in the Mecklenburg Lake District . The community is located northwest of Neubrandenburg . It belonged to the Stavenhagen-Land Office until January 31, 2004 and since the merger with the city of Stavenhagen to the Stavenhagen Office , which has its administrative headquarters in the Reuterstadt Stavenhagen .

Geography and traffic

Briggow is about twelve kilometers southeast of Stavenhagen. The federal highway 104 runs north and the federal highway 194 west of the municipality.

The districts of Briggow are Briggow, Sülten and Sülten Hof.

Coat of arms, flag, official seal

The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag. The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg. It shows a looking bull's head with torn off neck fur and crown and the inscription "GEMEINDE BRIGGOW • LANDKREIS MECKLENBURGISCHE SEENPLATTE".
