history
Neverin
Neverin was first mentioned in a document in the 14th century. The place name was derived from Slavic and means something like place des or the Nevera (disbelief) . There used to be a castle in the local area, of which nothing can be seen except for a few small remains. The manor was u. a. owned by the von Arnim (from around 1694), von Berg (from 1713), von Dewitz (from 1720), von Gloeden (from 1759), von Bothmer (from 1765), von Dewitz (from 1783) and von Behr families - Negendank (1812-1945). Only a few structural remains remained of the estate. The classicist mansion built around 1800 was blown up and cleared in 1985/87.
Glocksin
Glocksin was first mentioned in 1337. Oswald Ihlenfeld was the owner of the manor there in the 15th century, which was bought by the city of Neubrandenburg in 1609/1613 . The estate was sold during the Thirty Years' War. In 1791 the privy councilor Ludwig Anton Seib bought the property, which remained in the family's possession. A forge was built in 1802, the church in 1805, the school in 1870 and a train station in 1884. After 1945 the Seib family lost the property to the state. On July 1, 1950, Glocksin was incorporated. In 1967 a water pipe was built and in 1983 a bitumen road. After 1995 new houses were built and in 2003 the church was renovated.

coat of arms
Blazon : “In blue, a silver tower rising from the lower edge with a shaft that tapers towards the top, a projecting floor with two black windows and a black framework, a protruding red pointed roof, equipped with a red knob; accompanied on both sides by a black oak branch with three silver leaves on the shaft. "
The coat of arms and the flag were designed by the Schwerin heraldist Heinz Kippnick . It was approved together with the flag on July 7, 2000 by the Ministry of the Interior and registered under the number 211 of the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. |
|
Justification of the coat of arms: In the coat of arms the tower symbol reflects the water tower built around 1922, the landmark of the place. A branch was borrowed from the coat of arms of the von Seip family, which had been in the possession of Glocksin since 1791, and whose coat of arms shows a silver dove with a three-leaved golden branch in its beak on a green hill. |
flag
The flag is striped in blue, white and blue across the longitudinal axis of the flag cloth. The blue stripes each take up a quarter, the white stripe takes up half the length of the flag cloth. In the middle of the white stripe is the municipal coat of arms, which takes up two thirds of the height and one third of the length of the flag. The length of the flag is related to the height as 5: 3.
Official seal
The official seal shows the municipal coat of arms with the inscription "GEMEINDE NEVERIN * LANDKREIS MECKLENBURGISCHE SEENPLATTE".
