Neetzka is a municipality in the east of the Mecklenburg Lake District in southeast Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). It is administered by the Woldegk office based in the city of the same name .
geography
The municipality of Neetzka is located about 20 kilometers east of Neubrandenburg and twelve kilometers northwest of Woldegk on Lake Neetzka . The Helpter Mountains rise to the east, and the community is located on the western foothills. The highest elevations in the municipality reach just under 100 meters, the lowest point is the Cuckoo Lake in the northeast, whose water level is 71 meters above sea level.
history
The Slavic name of the place was Swetlinge , it is mentioned in documents from 1276/1285 . 1389 u. In 1404 Neetzka is mentioned as Netzke in connection with the Feldmark Muggenhal. On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipality Katzenhagen was incorporated.

The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag. The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg. It shows a looking bull's head with torn off neck fur and crown and the inscription "GEMEINDE NEETZKA".

The local field stone church belongs to the Kublank parish in the Neustrelitz provost of the Mecklenburg parish of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany . The in the 13./14.
