Hohenbollentin is a municipality in the Mecklenburg Lake District . Historically, however, the village belongs to Pomerania . The municipality is administered by the Demmin Land Office, which has its seat in Demmin .

Geography and traffic

Hohenbollentin is about 15 km south of Demmin. The B 194 runs west of the community. The Augraben flows through the municipality .

history

Hohenbollentin was the first time in a deed of gift of the Pomeranian Prince Wartislaw III. documented on July 6, 1226.

The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag . The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the region of Western Pomerania . It shows an upright griffin with a raised tail and the inscription "GEMEINDE HOHENBOLLENTIN * LANDKREIS MECKLENBURGISCHE SEENPLATTE".
