Ballin is a district of the municipality of Lindetal in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

geography

The place is 16 kilometers southeast of Neubrandenburg . The Ballin district has an area of ​​809 hectares. The neighboring towns are Leppin , Köllershof and Plath in the northeast, Oltschlott in the east, Hinrichshagen and Rehberg in the southeast, Bredenfelde in the south, Loitz in the southwest, Teschendorf in the west and Rosenhagen in the northwest.

history

Ballin was first mentioned in 1306 (place of Bala ). The stone church dates from the second half of the 13th century with an interior from the 18th century. The baroque manor house was built after 1900.
