Alt Käbelich is a district of the municipality of Lindetal in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

geography

The place is 17 kilometers southeast of Neubrandenburg . For district Old Käbelich an area is one of 1020 hectares. The neighboring towns are Neetzka in the north, Oertzenhof in the northeast, Pasenow in the east, Petersdorf in the southeast, Oltschlott in the south, Plath in the southwest, Leppin in the west and Neu Käbelich in the northwest.

history

Alt Käbelich was named Cobelik (= mare's place ) in 1298 . The estate was owned by the von Dewitz family. From 1719 Neu-Käbelich was created through the peasant laying , and from 1770 Vorwerk von Alt-Käbelich. Neu-Käbelich was an independent dairy from 1801 . After 1719 the places were ducal chamber property (domain). The early Gothic stone church dates from the second half of the 13th century with features of Gothic Revival . Alt Käbelich was incorporated into the municipality of Leppin on October 1, 1972.
