Petersdorf is a district of the city of Woldegk in the east of the Mecklenburg Lake District in southeast Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany).

Petersdorf is about 19 kilometers southeast of Neubrandenburg and six kilometers northwest of Woldegk and in a hilly terminal moraine landscape , the highest elevations of which are northeast of the community with the Helpter mountains 179 m above sea level. With effect from May 26, 2019, the Petersdorf community was incorporated into the city of Woldegk. The municipality was previously administered by the Woldegk office , based in the city ​​of the same name .

Attractions

The Petersdorfer Feldsteinkirche dates from the 15th century. The panels on the east gable are made of brick. The neo-Gothic brick tower based on plans by Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel was built in 1826. The interior decoration includes a late medieval altar, which was renewed in 1726 and has a two-storey column structure with paintings. The pulpit dates from the middle of the 16th century. In 1980 the roof of the nave was re-covered, and the interior was renovated in 1988. In 1990 the tower was renovated.
