The Slavic rampart of Wulfsahl , a district of the municipality of Karrenzin in the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , lies between the localities of Karrenzin and Wulfsahl directly on the L 83. The ground monument is a former hill fort in a valley , the one possessed an oval diameter of approx. 75 meters. The well-preserved remains of the wall are still up to three meters high and today overgrown with bushes and trees. The castle complex had only one gate, which is located on today's country road. Since the castle is relatively close to the Löcknitz (Elbe) river , a kind of border fortification in the area of the Linonen , who were in close contact with the Obodrites , can be assumed . A local nobleman and his subordinates may have lived here. In the past centuries, the inside of the wall was used as a field.
