Karrenzin is a municipality in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). It is administered by the Parchimer Umland Office based in Parchim.
geography
The community is located one kilometer south of the federal motorway 24 and can be reached via the Parchim junction. The community is located about twelve kilometers south of Parchim . Karrenzin lies in a very hilly terminal moraine landscape west of the Ruhner Mountains . The Löcknitz flows through the municipality .
Districts of the community are Herzfeld, Karrenzin, Neu Herzfeld, Repzin and Wulfsahl. The names of the districts are identical:

history
On July 1, 1950, Karrenzin was incorporated into Groß Godems . On January 1, 1951, the communities of Groß Godems and Wulfsahl merged to form the new community of Karrenzin.
Incorporations
On June 13, 2004, Herzfeld was incorporated.

Coat of arms, flag, official seal
The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag. The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg. It shows a looking bull's head with torn off neck fur and crown and the inscription "• GEMEINDE KARRENZIN • LANDKREIS LUDWIGSLUST-PARCHIM".
