coat of arms

Coat of arms of Kuhstorf
Blazon : “In gold an oblique blue wavy strip; Accompanied by the figure: at the top by a left-turning, three-leaved green oak branch with two fruits; down from a black plow. "

The coat of arms was designed by the Schwerin heraldist Karl-Heinz Steinbruch . It was approved on June 24, 2004 by the Ministry of the Interior and registered under No. 290 of the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Reasons for the coat of arms: In the coat of arms, the river Sude is to be symbolized with the wave ledge. The oak branch stands both as a speaking symbol for the district of Eichhof, as well as for the former forester's farm there, the plow represents the farming village of Kuhstorf.

The municipality does not have an officially approved flag .

Official seal

The official seal shows the municipal coat of arms with the inscription "GEMEINDE KUHSTORF • LANDKREIS LUDWIGSLUST-PARCHIM".
