Lüblow is a municipality in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is administered by the Office Ludwigslust-Land with its seat in the non-official city of Ludwigslust .

The district of Neu Lüblow belongs to Lüblow.

Geography and traffic

Lüblow is about 21 kilometers south of Schwerin . The state road 72 (formerly federal road 106 ) is reached in three kilometers , the federal highway 24 in four kilometers. Lüblow has a stop on the Ludwigslust – Wismar railway line .

history

The first written mention of the place comes from the year 1246. An old Gothic church no longer exists, in its place a simple half-timbered hall was built in 1738, which has been restored since 2006. A school building built in 1832 now serves as a home parlor, in which testimonies of the history of the place were collected in voluntary work.

The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag. The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg. It shows a looking bull's head with a torn off neck fur and crown and the inscription “• GEMEINDE LÜBLOW • LANDKREIS LUDWIGSLUST-PARCHIM”.
