Burkhard horn

Burkhard Hupe (* 1966 or 1967 in Stadthagen ) is a German radio presenter .

Hupe grew up in Hörkamp-Langenbruch, Lower Saxony, and began his career at Siegener Zeitung , where he completed his training as a local editor. As a radio presenter he worked for the local broadcaster Radio Siegen for the first time . Since the late 1990s, Hupe has been working in the WDR sports department, where he primarily works as a sports commentator for football matches . Among other things, he participates in the Bundesliga conference.

Hupe was awarded the Herbert Zimmermann Prize of the Association of German Sports Journalists in the reporting category for his radio report on the game between Germany and the USA at the 2017 Ice Hockey World Cup .
