The Burro Peaks (in Chile Picos Orejas de Burro , English for dog-eared tips ) are 190 m high twin peaks on Dee Island in the English Strait in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands .
Participants of the 17th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963) gave them their descriptive name. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated the original name into English in 1978.
