Business Jump ( Japanese ビ ジ ネ ス ジ ャ ン プ , Bushinesu Jampu ) was a Japanese manga magazine . It was aimed at a young, male audience, especially young professionals, and is therefore included in the His category.
It was created in 1985 as a sister magazine to the Weekly Shōnen Jump aimed at male youth . Both magazines are published by Shueisha . In 1986 the pace of publication was increased from monthly to twice a month. In 2009 the copies were sold 328,000 times each, in 2011 240,000 times each. With the issue of October 5, 2011, the magazine was discontinued, as was the sister magazine Super Jump (200,000 copies), which was published alternately to a similar target group and replaced by the new Grand Jump .
