Butzelmann

The Butzelmann is a 31% Bergischer herbal liqueur that was originally produced in Haan in the Bergisches Land since the 19th century and is now produced by the Bernard-Massard group in Trier and sold in stone jugs . The recipe for this herbal liqueur contains a mixture of herbs that are mixed with honey and mature for seven months.

In 2005 Butzelmann won the gold medal in the ISW international spirits competition .
