Cäcilie Hansmann

Cäcilie "Cilly" Hansmann (born June 15, 1908 in Cologne ; † October 1, 1984 there ) was a German resistance fighter against fascism and a member of the state parliament in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

The trained payroll clerk was a delegate in the youth union cartel from 1928 to 1929 and political director of the Communist Youth Association in Cologne from 1928 to 1930 . At the age of 22 she became a member of the KPD . In 1933 she fled to Amsterdam , from where she organized resistance against National Socialism . After the war she returned to Cologne and was a member of the first state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1947 to 1950 . She was also a member of the board of the trade union specialist group and the local board of the AOK .
