César Mercado (athlete)
César Mercado (born October 25, 1959 ) is a retired Puerto Rican marathon runner .
In 1983 he won silver at the Pan American Games in Caracas , and in 1984 he came 31st at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles . In 1985 he was sixth in the San Blas Half Marathon.
He won silver in the half marathon of the Athletics Central American and Caribbean Championships in 1989 and in the marathon of the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1990.
