César Pedroso
César "Pupy" Pedroso (born September 24, 1946 in Vedado / Havana ) is a Cuban pianist .
Pedroso first became known with the Orquesta Revé . Since 1969 he played as a pianist and then as a founding member of the Los Van Van group . For them he also wrote important pieces such as “Call Calla”, “Tranquilo, Mota”, “Seis Semanas” or “El buenagente”, but he also composed for other Cuban musicians. In 1995 he released the first solo CD "Lo mejor / Fruta prohibida" under his name, the second was released in 1999 under Pupy y Los Que Son Son. After leaving Los Van Van, several CD releases followed since 2001 with his own permanent record Band Pupy y Los que Son, Son , with whom he has now released four albums.
