César Stiattesi
César Stiattesi (* 1881 in Nice ; † 1934 ) was an Argentine composer, conductor and music teacher of French-Italian origin.
Stiattesi went to Argentina in 1889. He worked as a conductor at the Teatro Coliseo and at the Teatro Colón , where his opera Bianci di Beaulieu premiered in 1910 . In 1925 he was the first director of the newly founded choir of the Teatro Colón alongside Achille Consoli . He taught at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Buenos Aires, where Carlos Suffern was one of his students.
