CADPAT (abbreviation of CA nadian D isruptive PAT tern ) is a computer-aided camouflage pattern that has been used by the Canadian armed forces for uniform parts ( camouflage clothing ) since 2002 .

After a development time of almost ten years, the pattern was used in two versions, whereby it is not a reversible fabric printed on both sides. It was introduced in two versions:

  • Temperate Woodland (TW) for northern climates with forest and scrubland
  • Arid Region (AR) for southern climates with dry land, deserts and savannas ( arid climate )

CADPAT TW became the standard camouflage pattern for the Canadian Army in 2002 , followed by the Canadian Air Forces in 2004.
